With the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA)National Convention coming to Milwaukee, WI in 2010 the MNSE started a cleaning project.
One of the first items of business was to paint the floor on the club room. This had been discussed for many years. In April 2009 two members took it upon themselves to form the Floor Committee and finish the job. Photos of that project will be forthcoming.
After completed a clean up started and the photos below were found on a display board. So rather than throw them away the photos were taken off the board and scanned for sake of saving them.
It is believed that this was the state of the MNSE layout in 1991-1992. Things have changed a bit in 17 years and like any great layout it is "never finished".
